To do so, you have to create lines of tiles that are either aligned vertically or horizontally across the board. As soon as you begin, the game prompts you to a standard 8×8 board. Located below the board is another panel showcasing the tile pieces. Simply drag and drop the pieces on the board and attempt to create lines as many as you possibly can.

Classic and Bomb Mode

Interestingly, Wood Block Puzzle comes with two equally fun and challenging campaigns. These include the Classic Mode and the Bomb Mode. In Classic Mode, as the title suggests, you will be prompted to the standard 8×8 grid with the same classic gameplay and mechanics. Your main objective here is to get the highest score by clearing as many tiles as you can. Simply drag and drop the puzzle pieces on the board and skillfully align them until you have completed a straight line vertically or horizontally. Unlike classic puzzles though, the puzzle pieces in this game will not arrive in batches. As soon as you consume a tile, it will be replaced by a new tile immediately.

Players are also encouraged to create combos to earn higher points. You can create combos by eliminating multiple lines in a single turn. The Bomb Mode, on the other hand, generally works the same way as the Classic mode. However, in this campaign, bombs will randomly appear on the board. Once a bomb appears, the player will only have 10 moves to consume. A timer can be seen on the bomb to indicate the remaining moves you have left. To eliminate the bomb, you must create a line that will include the bomb itself. Failing to eliminate the bomb within the given number of moves will result in an explosion which will end the game immediately.
